15 years of tutoring, and and teaching in Korea, Beijing, China, Saudi Arabia. ➢ Demonstrated excellent leadership and survival skills as teacher working overseas actively organizing teaching activities and discussing student concerns with the academic heads. I personally became involved with student’s issues and concerns. ➢ Comprehensive knowledge of many software applications including; Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Database systems, multiple Accounting Software packages, Adobe Acrobat, the Internet/Research and Windows XP/Windows 7. ➢ Extensive experience in multi-cultural environments: o I love to travel and experience new cultures, languages and people. I have travelled to (and lived in for 11 years) all over South Korea, Japan, China, Inner Mongolia, Canada, the United States, Mexico, and most of the countries in Europe. o Through my work experience I have collaborated with, and managed very successfully, a very diverse range of students of different ages, and personal challenges. o The MBA program consists primarily of students from many parts of the United States, creating a challenging and dynamic learning environment. ➢ Participated in several Tae Kwon Do Tournaments over the years. I also enjoy doing yoga, weight lifting, scuba diving, walking, hiking, cosmetics, fashion’s/styles. ➢ I am a lifelong learner in all respects, for instance, I taught myself yoga, and designed a respective ESP curriculum and taught Yoga English and health and well-being to Korean Women. ➢ I like to spend my leisure time drawing, following politics, and reading literature and philosophy. I am also a member of the University of Victoria Alumni. ➢ I have basic to intermediate knowledge of the French and Spanish language.
