I am currently an English teacher for students in 8th, 9th, and 10th grades, as well as in Research 1. I strive to make learning fun as I teach, whether we are reviewing key grammar concepts or practicing communicating effectively through writing. I can tailor my approach to align with my student's learning styles and incorporate activities that are geared towards their interests and goals. I can use a variety of resources and media to help my student build their reading comprehension, composition, and writing skills. If my student has a project or book report, I can help them remain focused and motivated as they work to complete it. I can answer questions as they tackle their homework, as well as go over different ways to identify perspectives within a piece.
