Education
I am able to teach all types of Mathematics in general and am comfortable teaching all math-related topics and subjects at various levels. My teaching philosophy is based on the idea that students learn best in an environment based on mutual respect where they are able to think and make new connections for themselves. Whether a student is having a hard time keeping up with the rest of their grade 7 math class, needs help preparing and strategizing for the SAT Subject Test in Mathematics Level 1, or would like to work through extra practice questions for PSAT Mathematics, I have the skills, expertise, and experience to provide them with the additional academic support they need. My tutoring sessions are always student-centered, which means that my students determine the pace at which they learn and the topics and materials we focus on.
Experience
I have completed a Bachelor of Secondary Education with a specialization in Mathematics and Biology. In addition to this, I have also completed a Master of Arts degree specializing in Education and Mathematics.
