I am a professional instructor with more than 3 years of teaching experience. I am also a working professional in the field of Accounting, Finance, and Auditing, so I can give real-world examples. By relating the material in realistic ways, students can more readily build a connection to subjects like Accounting, International Business, Economics, and Business Statistics, among others. I encourage students to ask questions to further expand their grasp of concepts rather than focusing on rote memorization. We can go over rudimentary bookkeeping skills, how the accounting equation functions, and the way credits and debits impact different types of business accounts. I can find ways to keep my students concentrated as they review concepts, whether we are working on filling in learning gaps or refreshing their memory for an upcoming test in class.
